Customer Review: Fantastic5
I love Davina and I love this DVD set. The excercises are fun enjoyable and its great to see Davina sweat! Feels likes you are doing this with your best friend. But be warned it is not easy, you will feel it the next day and you will sweat lots. Its divided into sections and interval cardio so you can burn that fat. So good even my mum has bought it. Roll on her next workout DVD.

3.  Davina - My Pre And Post Natal Workouts Davina - My Pre And Post Natal Workouts

4.  Darcey Bussell: Pilates For Life Darcey Bussell: Pilates For Life
DVD ~ Darcey Bussell
Average Customer Review:

Darcey Bussell: Pilates for Life DVD5
Excellent! I highly reccomend this DVD. Darcey Bussell is a great example and inspiring teacher and the workout, even though disarmingly easy, is extremely effective! She is also very precise in her execution, which makes me confident that I am also learning it correctly. After 4 sessions, I can see and feel better tone and strength in my hips, pelvis, and abdomen. It's also helping my posture and balance. She has warm-up and warm-down sequences, and the choice of a 18 minute mini programme or the full 50 minute programme, which she recommends doing three times a week. After a day a the office, this DVD puts my body back together.

5.  Nell McAndrew's Ultimate Challenge - Ultimate Results Nell McAndrew's Ultimate Challenge - Ultimate Results
DVD ~ Nell McAndrew
Average Customer Review:

Demonstrates a workout which has incorporated more squats, abs and stretches, to provide a more rounded and satisfying workout.

Ultimate workout 5
Fabulous workout for those who have a moderate level of fitness. If you are unfit, this will be too much for you, even though there are about 5 bail out sections are built into the cardio workout.

6.  10 Minute Solution - Pilates 10 Minute Solution - Pilates
Average Customer Review:

Studies have shown that regular short workouts can be just as effective as less frequent, longer exercise sessions. '10 Minute Solution: Pilates' partitions the body into five different segments, each with a separate workout: Pilates for Abs, Pilates for Buns and Thighs, Sculpting Pilates, Pilates for Burn, and Pilates for Flexibility. Incorporating both standing and mat Pilates, these workouts are high impact and suitable for all levels.

Best Pilates DVD5
I've tried quite a few Pilates DVDs and this one is by far the best. The rest put me to sleep and are now gathering dust on the shelf. This one is much more energetic and fast paced. I'm a relative newbie since I didn't stick with the other DVDs and so this one is quite challenging for me but not so challenging as to make me want to give up. The fact that it's broken up into 10 min sections is excellent so that you can pick and mix which areas of your body you choose to work on that particular day. This one is a winner!

7.  Pilates Weight Loss Workout For Dummies Pilates Weight Loss Workout For Dummies
Average Customer Review:

The makers of the 'Dummy' instructional books and videos have struck again, this time with a beginner's guide to Pilates. The gist of the Pilates workout is to engage what is known as the powerhouse (the stomach and other core muscles of the body) to gain strength and, in the process, shed extra pounds. A specific method of breathing (through the nose only) is also employed during key moments of the movements. The method of building strength that was first developed by German athlete Joseph Pilates has become a close second to yoga in popularity. Pilates originally invented spring tension machines that use straps for the feet and supports for the back. This 'Pilates For Dummies' program provides mat work, or moves that can be executed on the floor. This makes for an easy, at-home introduction to an exercise regime that is said to create the long, lean dancer's body.

8.  Vicky Entwistle - WOW! - Weight Off Workout! [2006] Vicky Entwistle - WOW! - Weight Off Workout! [2006]
DVD ~ Vicky Entwistle
Average Customer Review:

Vicky Entwistle--CORONATIONS STREET's Janice Battersby--demonstrates with her workout title how she lost two and a half stone.

Easy to Follow5
I have only done the workout twice so far but found it very easy to follow and the instructor is nice to watch too! Lots of muscles. Another huge plus point is that you don't have to have a gym at home to do it in, I have enough room in my average size living room to do all the exercises without banging in to anything. I'm looking forward to the results....

9.  Ministry Of Sound : The Ultimate Workout - Pump It Up, Burn It, Lose It Ministry Of Sound : The Ultimate Workout - Pump It Up, Burn It, Lose It
DVD ~ Agata Pienio
Average Customer Review:

The fourth instalment in Ministry of Sound's PUMP IT UP series, BURN IT, LOSE IT takes you on an aerobics workout professionally programmed by award-winning fitness instructor, Agata Pienio. Warm up with a 'foundation' session, then choose from 'beatbox' (a high impact combat-aerobics session), 'pump it up' (a dance aerobics session), or 'below the belt' (a bums, tums and thighs session), before cooling down with a 'knockout' session.

10.  A.M. and P.M. Yoga For Beginners [2004] A.M. and P.M. Yoga For Beginners [2004]
DVD ~ Rodney Yee
Average Customer Review:

Start the day with a yoga routine that will gently awaken and revitalise for the day ahead. Plus a de-stressing, relaxing yoga routine for the end of the day.

A.M and P.M. yoga for beginners5
Excellent DVD! Highly recommend it! Both workouts, which last about 20 minutes each, are super. They help you to be more limber as they stretch the stiffest areas of the body as well as work with balance and strength. As yoga often does, it also seems to magically stimulate the inner organs to detox and normalize functions, so is a real all-round health booster! Both workouts are well narrated, so you don't need to keep your eyes glued to the television set to figure out what you are supposed to be doing next. This is one DVD that I will be using for many years to come! I should add that my 20 year old daughter finds the movements too slow (but she is a dancer who does pilates to relax) while they are perfect for middle-aged me.
There is a third and excellent workout routine if you are just a little too stiff for the extreme poses and need the blocks and straps, which gives a nice variation or bonus. In all, a recommended purchase.
